Accessibility, Telecare and Digital Television

Digital systems enable an easy integration of any kind of service or
information. This characteristic can be used to provide new content and
services in digital television. In this way, it is possible to take
advantage of digital technology to improve the accessibility of the
television for people with disabilities and to offer telecare services by
means of a very familiar interface, especially for certain people, such us
the elderly.
